The heaven’s dark and quite rumbling. But this doesn’t stop people from rushing towards UP Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman on a Saturday morning. As I told myself, “Whatever the set of circumstances maybe, I should be there, come what may”. And I did.

Since my Mistress let me go out and explore the wonderful day I am looking forward to in months, I am really astonished as to what my preparations have been pulled off. November 22 is the day I have been waiting for, eagerly waiting for. So I slipped on my Prada and grabbed my Gucci, I’m off to a wonderful place, nobody had dreamed off. I’m off to KomiKon 2008!

Lots of people poured on the entrance. Still keeping my high hopes, I was joyfully greeted by the staff. And I’m through. Lots of freebies we’re given away at the entrance alone. I have a KomiKon board fan, a Batch 72 comic book from Alamat, and bunch of goodies from Friendster! (The bunch I am referring to are some card stuff and a pen. Oh! I love the pen!)

I was taken aback! THERE ARE LOTS OF GOODIES! There we’re lots of comic books all around the place! (Isn’t weird? That’s why it’s called KomiKon, from Comic Convention. Tsk ---- LKTG) I rushed towards an assembly of people at the near front where I could locate the Indie Tiangge to look for the Lapis Ko ‘To stall.

At the corner of my eye, I saw sitting beside . WHAT AN EXQUISITE DAY! To my excitement, I hurriedly went to their place and bought ’s Fables, and for ’s Anthology! I bought 10 copies each! (LIAR! You just browsed it but didn't buy it! Tsk. --- LKTG)

was around, visiting each indie comic stalls, but he never saw me. I was at the food stall, eating that ridiculous tonkatsu. I wish I could meet him.

I stayed on the the LKTG place and exchange some intelligent conversation with them. But as I stood still in a matter of 3 hours, I was struck by a lot of games and attention-grabbing, compelling and mesmerizing interviews of the Culture Clash, Gerry Alanguilan and a lot of guests! Floods of prizes were given away, like comic books from some Filipino mainstream comic books!
arrived and approached me. He told me THAT woman was there at the event too. I was not surprised. As to what she knows is to spoil that event, Lapis Ko ‘To’s moment. But gladly, the entrance people hold her off and successfully wasn’t able to enter the venue. (THAT woman Inday is referring to is --- LKTG)

As the event came close to an end, the LKTG team, rushed towards the Comic Odyssey and FullyBook stands to grab copies of their beloved comic books.

I wasn’t able to bid them farewell, because time is running out for me. I have to cook rice since it’s about dinner time and my Mistress would be home soon. And I am in a tizzy because I forgot to lock the main door of the house.
